A Treasured Gift

One gift, above all others,
God gives to us to treasure--
One that knows no time, no place;
One that gold can't measure--

The precious, poignant, tender gift
of Memory--for it keeps
Our dear ones ever in our hearts,
Though they have gone to sleep.

It brings back long remembered things--
A song, a word, a smile--
And the world's a better place because
We had them for a while!

Grandma,
It is so hard to believe that you are gone. I have so many fond memories of me and you through out the years.I remember way back when i used to bug you for your applesauce and you would give me two jars to take home everytime. I remember the trick you played on me one time, with the thing that blew water in my face. I am going to miss all the hate, gloves, andd blankets that you used to make, Your smile and laugh will forever be in my heart. I'm going to miss a lot of things about you grandma, see you in heaven.
